Managing Director of the High Line Network, High Line
Asima has over 20 years of urban planning experience focused on the intersection of social and economic impacts of place-based policies and programs, and currently leads the High Line Network, a learning community for reimagining urban infrastructure as open spaces. She works with project leaders to help them work towards goals of social equity and inclusion to build collective impact. Previously, Asima served as a Principal at HR&A Advisors, leading projects in the Resiliency and Inclusive Cities practices for clients such as the Rockefeller Foundation, US Conference of Mayors, and the NYC Department of Education. Asima also worked as Deputy Programme Manager at the European Urban Knowledge Network facilitating best practice and urban knowledge exchange.
